About G Willy

The Acoustic Jukebox" G Willy has entertained crowds in the Pacific North West and beyond for over 25 years. His shows are energetic and interactive, encouraging audience participation. G Willy performs in such Whistler party spots as The Crystal Lounge, Dustys, Merlins, Citta and Blacks. From restaurant patios to large halls or festivals, G Willy's vast repertoire, combined with his years of experience, truly make him a Juke-box for any event. Greg's versatility and intensity has delighted audiences everywhere from Hawaii to Eugene Oregon, Victoria BC and his current home in Whistler BC. His first album was released at the age of 17 and he has pursued numerous musical styles and projects over the years. G Willys vocal career began as a Jim Morrison impersonator in the early 90s with the New Creatures. The group played a landmark performance at Vancouvers Commodore Ballroom, which offered them a number of television appearances.

Sound and Soul Studios	Apr 2 2009 7:33 PM We're not sure if you caught our latest blog. But as you may know or not know, we are a new media recording studio in Squamish BC. We are calling all local bands that would like to participate in being part of the Studio's 1st offical CD release - a Sound & Soul Studios compilation disc featuring the 10 best performances/productions. The cost to each band/solo artists is $100 for 1 song if you can play all your own parts and don't require any pre/post production. or $150 for 1 song which would include prouction. Production work is being defined as layering, arrangements, session playing, etc. All within a 3 or 4 hour block, depending if you need or don't need production work. Example of a 3 or 4 Hour Session Layout 2 Hours - Set up and tracking (1 Hour - Optional Production) 1 Hour - Mixing

Bands Against Hunger	Nov 29 2008 7:47 PM Hello Everyone, The Bands Against Hunger Society is calling out for all Musicians, Artists, Dancers, Volunteers, Photographers, Sound Man and the local Community to come together to raise funds and awareness at our next Bands Against Hunger event! 2-day Benefit on December 21st, 2008 and December 22nd, 2008 to be held at Buffalo Bill's Bar.
