Filmmaking, playing keyboard, hanging around and making the mundane and boring interesting (e.g. looking at 'characters' in public), helpin' others, socializing (not so good at this), working out, being creative and productive, learning, video games... etc.
Music
I primarily like Funk, Jazz, R&B, with bits of everything I suppose, but generally none of the popular music. Stuff is my favorite band, and I also like Jamiroquai, Tower of Power, Yellowjackets, Greyboy Allstars, The Headhunters, Earth Wind and Fire, and Spyro Gyra. Some of my favorite artists are Richard Tee, Steve Gadd, Clifford Coulter, Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, James Brown, Donny Hathaway, Bob James, Les Mccann, Roberta Flack, Joey DeFrancesco, Jimmy Smith, Billy Preston, Russell Ferrante, Vince Gueraldi, Norah Jones...
My idols:
Movies
Rear Window, North by Northwest, The Man Who Knew Too Much, The Birds, The Shining, Signs, Napoleon Dynamite, The Life Aquatic, The Truman Show, Independence Day, Star Wars 'hexilogy?', Matrix trilogy, American Graffiti, Dazed and Confused, Mallrats, Peewee's Big Adventure, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Evil Dead trilogy, Equinox, Mystery Science Theater 3000's "Timechasers" and "Podpeople," as well as some of my own.. :P www.UbseyMovies.com.
Television
Don't watch much. I enjoy some Adult Swim shows (Space Ghost, Brak, Aqua Teen), Who's Line is it Anyway...
Books
"If Chins Could Kill: Confessions from a B-Movie Actor," "The Directors' Master Class," "STORY," "Huzzah..." I read when I remember I can.
Heroes
I don't find one person completely flawless as to be a hero of mine, but I like particular characteristics of: My friends (Robert's humor, Greg's pure-but-absent-mindedness, Trevor's understanding), Scott Thibodo's (my godfather) intelligence and wisdom, Woody Allen, Bruce Campbell, Richard Tee.. and generally anyone who has 'walked the walk', accomplished what they wanted to do, bettered other people's lives, and given it their all.
I play piano, organ, general keyboards. I love the good ol' Rhodes too. Let me know if you need some classical, lounge piano for your next party or are lookin' to start a funk/R&B band.

About me: My name's Robbie. My favorite color's anything within the blue-green spectrum. I make movies, I play piano and Hammond B3 Organ. I'm the quiet, observent type and can be entertained by sitting around at a party and simply watching people, though I ocasionally have the exhibitionistic outbreak too. I like seeing the details in my life and appreciating my surroundings to the fullest. However it's sometimes difficult for me to verbally express myself, as I sometimes don't speak quick enough to maintain people's attention. Fortunately I was gifted with other means of expression. I'm constantly trying to improve myself and enjoy life. My brother, friends and I have an independent film company we're starting at www.UbseyMovies.com, too.
I'd like to talk with some new people, so feel free to get a hold of me. I don't care much for talking 2 ppl lyke dis tho.

The following is what musicianship is all about.
Who I'd like to meet: People my age with like interests, who hopefully enjoy deeper things than chucking large rocks in the creek or headbanging to noise. Filmmakers, R&B/Funk musicians ...Someone enthusiastic, motivated, and creative. A girl would be nice :P

The Frenchman Louis Lumiere is often credited as inventing the first motion picture camera in 1895. But in truth, several others had made similar inventions around the same time as Lumiere. What Lumiere invented was a portable motion-picture camera, film processing unit and projector called the Cinematographe, three functions covered in one invention.
