So basically, we are a group of students at Glen Waverley Secondary College who want to do something about the injustice in the world. We want to raise awareness about social justice issues, particularly global poverty. We aim to provide practical alternatives to products that come from the slave trade and other unjust methods as well as educate the community.

The Campaign
Don't Trade Lives is a new campaign by World Vision that aims to unite Australians against human trafficking and slavery. Human trafficking is a modern day slave trade. The buying and selling of people for exploitative labour is the third biggest crime in the world today behind drugs and arms. Every sector of Australian society can impact on human trafficking in our region.

VGen is the official youth movement of World Vision Australia, and our motto is to "inspire, educate and empower young people in the fight against global poverty and injustice".
How do we do that? By holding cool fundraising events, and using our voices to raise awareness of them, and to have fun!
