About me: Gwyneth Bolton was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. She currently lives in Syracuse, New York with her husband Cedric. When she was 12-years-old, she became an avid reader of romance by sneaking her mother's stash of Harlequin and Silhouette novels. In the 90s, she was introduced to African American and multicultural romance novels and her life hasn't been the same since. While she had always been a reader of romance, she didn't feel inspired to write them until the genre opened up to include other voices. And even then, it took finishing graduate school, several non-fiction publications, and a six-week course at the Loft Literary Center titled Writing the Romance Novel; before she gathered the courage to start writing her first romance novel. She has a BA and an MA in English/Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in English/Composition and Rhetoric. She teaches classes in writing and women's studies at the college level. She has won several awards for her romance novels, including five Emma Awards and the Romance In Color Reviewer's Choice award for new author of the year. When she is not teaching or working on her own African American romance novels, she is curled up with a cup of herbal tea, a warm quilt, and a good book.

Woohoo!! You're a Toni. Damn girl you could shop all day long and still not be tired! Sometimes you go for the guys that can offer you things instead of going for the guys that you really care about and offer their heart out most to you. Nevertheless, you're still a great friend and would do anything for your girlfriends. You go girl!!

Sometimes in life, we just need someone who believes that we can. And more importantly, we must have the guts to believe we can. Yes, We sometimes get knocked down by our circumstances and situations, people run off and the thing that we want does not give the impression to want us. But it is in those times when all hope is gone that our understanding must raise its beautiful head. We can make it. It may not be easy, fast or rational but in the blink of an eye or a snap of our fingers, things can turn around.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! Just finished Sizzling Seduction....and what can I say.....IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!!! And Aunt Sophie's secret, all I can say is I was floored! The book was awesome!
Well Soror Gwyneth...you gave the finale book of the Hightower Series a great going out party! Truly enjoyed Patrick going after his woman Aisha with a fierce determination. I liked the interchange he had with his brothers to assist his call for help! But the icing on the cake was that Aunt Sophie and revealing her secrets! All in all, even though there are no more Hightower brothers I sure hope we get a book with Terrell and Maritza whose Penny and Jason's friends.

Putting on my reader hat for a moment. I had to stop by and tell you "YES, Sizzling Seduction was well worth the wait!!!!" Gotta love a man who can learn from the actions of his brothers, recognize what he wants, and go after it with a persistence no can resist. Oh and don't let me forget that he can "Protect and Serve" the one he loves.
