ENGLISH
Gwyneth was conceived following Plaid Cymru's St David's Day dinner at Abaty Maenan, Dyffryn Conwy, North Wales, in 1979. She surprised her parents yet again when she paraphrased the famous Welsh ditty 'Pori mae yr asyn' at the tender age of two.
Following an idyllic childhood and experimental teens, she gained a first class honours degree in Philosophy and Theology from Jesus College, Oxford. She joined the band Coca Rosa and the Dirty Cousins (as one of the Cousins) before returning to her beloved homeland to write plays, poetry, and spread the gospel of country-folk music.
Her debut album, Wyneb dros dro, was released in 2005 by Slacyr Records. Tonau, her second album, was released by her own label, Recordiau Gwinllan, on the 25th of May 2007.

Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?
Hey friend remember us we would like to think you because wit out you we couldn't of gotten so far, we started this account 3years ago and we never would expect to go so far wit the band

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
Diolch yn fawr, caredig iawn. Mae cardigans wlanog hyd yn oed gwell os ti'n ffeindio baj sydd yn matchio fo mewn siop ym Mhwlleli. what's the craic? llyg
hey gwyneth,
its been a while. Hope you are well, pretty smooth time here in jolly London Town.
It took me ages, but I finally finished my album!
I uploaded it for a free listen on last.fm. If you fancy, have a listen and tell me what you think about it, you can find it at this link:
or just on last.fm if you digit 'trent miller & the skeleton jive' (for some reasons if you digit only 'trent miller' nothing comes out, still have to figure out how it works...)
I also worked on a proper release on my Hangman Records label, I think I will sell it at gigs and via post, it is a very limited edition of 500 copies.
