Annabelle wants nothing more than to sing and escape her caged life and has begun to lose hope until she gets an unexpected visit from her hilarious guardian angels. On the other side of town, Christian is an R&B heartthrob who is looking for the girl from his dreams. After overhearing Annabelle sing, he becomes enamored with her voice, but she disappears before he finds out who she is. Vowing to find her again, Christian hosts a competition looking for a “Cinderella” and in an American Idol format, contestants sing their hearts out.
