Sounds Like
A romantic gondola ride in Venice. A bustling street corner in Paris. A lighthearted social club in Havana. A smoky lounge in New Orleans. A dark, fiery tango in Buenos Aires.
Often described as sexy, energetic, passionate, and unique, brand-new Vancouver duo Gypsie et la Fleur have already begun winning over audiences in both public and private settings. Their spicy original music and imaginative arrangements of popular tango, gypsy, jazz, and classical tunes engage audiences and fit well into almost any setting. This, combined with the charisma of the players and the unmistakeable synergy between them, creates an atmosphere of romance, passion, and fun.
Thank you for your joyful good-humour. It sounds fair, with all blame on my not being a recording engineer at all; you sounded great.
Jelena Milojevic emailed me right after the show with announcements for her upcoming concerts! March 14, 2 PM at the Christ Church Cathedral, 600 Burrard. We're there.
Hey Elyse! Check out my videos here on my myspage page--I have a few with my playing in my band Tin Roof Painting Company. We do bluegrass/folk/celtic etc.
Do you have any suggestions of who I can listen to (besides yourself :) of course! ) so I can start learning gypsy music? I am also a bellydancer and have been wanting to incorporate live music into my performances... Also, do you know if there is any sheet music available out there and if so, some good composers to look out for? Thanks girl!

PS. Wanted to say something more creative than, thank you for adding me. ;- )
Elyse! Are you really living in Vancouver, BC now? I was there in March of this year. I totally loved the entire province!!! Still do. Even visited Victoria!
