About me: Rock Legacy @ Ashfield WMC .. Add to My Profile | More Videos
Hi there my name is Darren Dodds aka ( the bassace) I am a 31 year old ginger bass guitar fool, I have been playing the bass guitar since I was 15 years old, and have studied under the tutelage of bass master Fred T Baker, gaining a 2.1 degree in music. I have played in too many bands to mention all over this crazy place we call the Earth. At present I am playing in a Rock covers band called ROCK LEGACY.My other interest outside of music are mainly trying to keep fit, the study of Martial Arts, ( I am a black belt 1st dan in Wado Ryu Karate) and to drink as much Guinness as possible.
Who I'd like to meet: I am a huge fan of Kung Fu Icon Mr Jackie Chan, so he would be first, then maybe Jesus, he sempt a cool bloke. Finally the bass god that is Jaco Pastorius, but sadly he is in the great gig in the sky!
McGreetings Bassace Thank you for counting us among your MySpace friends. Please keep in touch, rock on! All the best to you and yours, from Pegasus in Bonnie Scotland.
'twas a real fun gig. Your playing was spot on. Next time you can venture a bit further forward! I'll put some photos on later. Really nice to meet Mr & Mrs D (Snr) too.
