READINGS BY REBECCA
For our Dinner guests, on Friday and Sunday nights, Gypsy welcomes our beloved friend and gifted spiritual advisor, Rebecca. Rebecca has been studying tarot for well over a decade and reading professionally for over five years. She continues to study Practical Mysticism with Ruth and Charque Newall as well as teaching tarot classes at Gypsy. After completing two SIT (Spiritual Insight Training) classes at Lilly Dale, New York, her clairaudient abilities began to blossom and she is continuing to hone this gift. Her budding ability to hear Spirit combined with the tarot and a penchant toward the practical make her readings inspirational as well as useful.
Rebecca's Style: therapeutic, insightful, practical
Gypsy's staff and friends have all had their Tarot cards read for insight, emotional healing, psychological clarity, and fun! We describe her as "creepy-good"!
Rebecca is available for 15- and 30-minute Tarot readings for $15 and $25 respectively.
Rebecca has a growing following and her appointments book quickly; she is especially popular with groups of friends gathering to celebrate a birthday or other event.

Gary Miller visits us Wednesdays offering intuitive psychic readings. Gary Miller has been studying with the Spiritualist Church of McKeesport for over three decades and has been having mediumistic experiences since early childhood. His life experience, intensified by the depth of his connection and his compassionate nature, helps Gary to provide excellent guidance as well as emotional healing.
Gary's Style: warm, forthright, compassionate

THE GYPSY STRINGS
For our Dinner guests on Thursdays 8pm-11pm, Gypsy presents The Gypsy Strings, a world-class Tambura group led by a genuine Gypsy violinist playing Gypsy-fied versions of European favorites and requests.
Thursday nights with the Strings are very popular at Gypsy, and we offer two seatings--6PM for our early dinner and theatre crowd, and 8PM and onward for The Gypsy Strings. Reservations are necessary for the Strings to ensure a seat; there is no standing room. Please call as soon as possible for a reservation; seats often fill by Tuesday for Thursday night.
At this time, there is no cover or additional charge for the entertainment, but we do expect you to join us for dinner. Should you choose not to order the equivalent of dinner, $10 cover per person waived with purchase of entree. The Gypsy Strings play European-style, and accept tips for their performance and for requests.
The Strings are an excellent match to our old-world atmosphere and we are honored to host them!
DON ALIQUO and FRIENDS
FIRST and THIRD Saturdays, Gypsy proudly presents the legendary Don Aliquo and friends for the enjoyment of our Dinner guests.
Saxophonist and flutist Don is a shining star in Pittsburgh's Jazz scene, and he is frequently joined by Mark Perna on piano in addition to other players, not to mention the occasional visiting singer straight from the audience!

Gypsy Cafe is an intimate neighborhood cafe on Pittsburgh's historic South Side. Our menu offers dishes inspired by the cuisines of the Mediterranean and beyond. We go everywhere the Gypsies go, and our seasonal menus use quality ingredients in flavorful, simply prepared interpretations of classic Greek, Italian, Middle Eastern, Spanish, and Eastern European dishes.
The central Mediterranean menu by its nature is low in fat and Vegetarian-friendly, and many of our dishes can be made to order.

Sundays: Sunday is our day to relax and really enjoy being part of the neighborhood. The irreverently-themed Sunday Brunch (Star Wars, '80's TV, etc.) starts late for sleepy-heads and changes weekly. Check out past Brunch Menu Blogs for examples of Chef Jim's creative themes and dishes.
Sunday night, we offer a three-course Prix Fixe Menu in addition to our ala carte menu. Look for homestyle touches--like mashed potatoes to rival your Grandma's!
DESSERT All of our desserts are homemade--some by talented Gypsy kitchen staff, and some by genuine Moms, trucked in from the suburbs and made to slave away for Gypsy. Some fancy, some homey--all delicious!
EVENTS We are happy to host private events, and we welcome parties, meetings, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, and rehearsal dinners!

Astro-rama is a joyous large scale outdoor event that unifies an audience in creating humanity’s message for far-flung galaxies. The show features live music, dynamic video, 3 stories of scaffolding, a 40' radio telescope, cherry pickers, scissor lifts and a giant robot. Squonk Opera and the Lively Arts College of Fine Arts Performance Plus present Indiana County: The Opera.
Come celebrate Indiana County with a new installment in our ‘Hometown Series’, a show that has been called “noisy, colorful, funny, outrageous” by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and “a quirky, playful, music- and image-driven piece of performance art “ by the Tribune Review.
Our show is not exactly ‘opera’, but a multi-media live concert that weaves music with video projections, props and puppets. To see more of what we do, check out our website at http://www. squonkopera. org.
