    This is a brief trailer of a DVD released in the second half of 2007 featuring the many talents of Australia's adopted Geordie Gypsy Dave Smith. The DVD features 18 top notch performances and knock about humour. This performance is taken from Echo Productions' documentary Ramblin' Boys a journey - The Martin Stephenson/Charlie Poole connection. The full documentary can be seen at Google video. Here Gypsy Dave take the lead for a rousing rendition of Charlie Poole's Sweet Liza Jane and talks about his roll in the production. Over the last several years renouned Blue's artist Dave Peabody and Gypsy Dave Smith have performed together at festivals and gigs. This is a number filmed specially for Gettin' the Blues This is an amazing performance from Gypsy Dave, playing one of his favourite Leadbelly songs. Filmed for the upcoming Blues music documentaries "Gettin' the Blues" Here the Gypo a great cover of a Tom Waits tune. This was filmed for "A Blues Night at the Castle Keep".
