The Prince of Wales is to host Kettering’s official Comic Relief Night. The Theme is fancy dress ‘bad taste’ night, which means anything goes. There are many prizes to be won including the worst dressed. Throughout the night there will be crazy competitions, games and giveaways but most importantly let’s not forget, The sole purpose is to raise money for comic Relief so you may be asked to dig deep into your pockets . Please give generously!
The music will be varied but focused on the party feel. It's gonna be awesome, See you there!
Those of you that came to last months event will know that we pulled out all the stops, to make the New Roadmender as different from how you may remember it being recently. The results were stunning.
This Friday will be no exception.
We are back in the main hall and bar 2 with very special guest band The Spivs from North London. These guys promise to shake rattle and roll your expectations with their blinding take on 50's Rockabilly and Garage Punk madness.
In the main hall we will be spinning the best upfront alternative dance music from stomping Northern Soul, Rock & Roll, Ska and Funk along with the usual 60's Beat, New Wave, Brit pop, Garage Punk and Indie.
Kickoff is 10:30pm with free admission before 11pm with a 3am finish.
