Gypsy's Blurbs |
About me:
I am the Gypsy Chef! This myspace is dedicated to our underground dining club known as the gypsy gourmet dininig club. Intrepid diners only.
How the gypsy works
The menu-uniquely produced from seasonal and organic products, primarily locally grown or caught and produced in NEOH. We strive to accommodate any allergies and food preferences. These meals are an adventurous experience prepared with exceptional talent and love. We want you to enjoy this unique degustation.
This is a club developed at an assortment of unique, intimate environments. There is one important requirement for membership: You must be known by the primaries or sponsored by a primary as an invited guest. You don't need to be a "member" to dine with us, just a guest of a member.

We don't like to talk about the gypsy.
As an against the grain faction, we prefer to operate below the radar to bring our refined cuisine and philosophy of service to a new innovative approach of dining. We have gone underground to produce gypsy gourmet dining, a brave fine-dining adventure, creating our restaurant experience in a small intimate setting. Our Creator is known only as the Gypsy Chef. |-

The gypsy gourmet Ethics: Commitment to Good Food, Community, Sustainability for All.|-
|-
|-
To eat good food is to be close to God. |-
|-
|-
We seek farmers who know and love their craft, ranchers who care about their livestock, fish merchants who are concerned about the health of the seas. To them we add our love of cooking and serving. We affirm our commitment to all this, knowing that it is central to both the deepest and the most joyous of human activities: generosity, companionship, nourishment, growth.
|-
|-
A good Chef respects their sources, chooses ingredients that are sound, seasonal, local when possible, and appropriate to the event. Respect for traditions, both artisan and sophisticated, is equal to respect for inventiveness and improvisation.
Good service is a bridge between the kitchen and the diner. It reflects an understanding and respect for the kitchen, coordinating choices of food and wine, and maintaining the comfort and relaxation necessary to a sound and enjoyable meal.
Farming, foraging, cooking, and serving are a natural sequence, like food, wine, care and nourishment. Remaining aware of the garden and the farm while at the table.
We personally gather materials from known and trusted purveyors who are committed to sustainable practices, and trusted for their values. By sustainability we mean conservation of resources, both natural resources and human resources - the families, businesses, and networks that plant and harvest and provide.|-
