Ground Zero Radio Productions is a small Internet broadcasting that has partnered up with the team over at TalkRadioX to bring you two weekly shows each and every Saturday night! GZRP started in 2002 with the introduction of it's flagship show, Ground Zero Radio. The show was dedicated (and still is to this day) to the fans of E-Wrestling, a popular hobby on the Internet. The show was created to add to a feature to the constantly evolving E-Sport.
Originally hosted by Travis McKay (who was joined eventually by co host Chris Sanders), the mastermind behind Ground Zero Radio, Tyler Hollywood, took the show to FanCast where weekly broadcasts could be heard every Sunday. In the first 10 weeks the show went to the top 5 on FanCast ratings and attained the 1 status 3 times in it's days there. Eventually, FanCast was sold and the show needed a new home.
It took four years and several attempts at different broadcasting ramps but Ground Zero Radio found a new home with Skype. Tyler Hollywood took over the broadcasting job and has now brought the show to new heights. No longer behind the scenes, Tyler has been a major force behind the mic. That led to the biggest change yet for the show and the business plan as a whole. Enter TalkRadioX! The gang at TRX and Tyler Hollywood came together with a stroke of luck and good timing. TRX was looking to grow and Ground Zero Radio became Ground Zero Radio Productions!
By the end of the 2006 season, Tyler Hollywood had two successful shows with time slots on the popular Internet talk radio station, TRX. Ground Zero Radio continues to bring the E-Wrestling fans all the news and breaking stories from around the E-Wrestling leagues every Saturday at 6PM. However, the growth of GZRP has been the bigger story. Tyler Hollywood was given the late night spot of 11PM on Saturday nights to run a wide open, talk radio show. He has brought along long time friend Johnny Patches as co host to the late night show called Steppin' To The Bad Side!
GZRP will continue to grow thank to the listeners from all over. TalkRadioX has grown as well in recent months since adding the two shows to it's schedule and they have no partnered with Windows Media Player and I-Tunes! Look for more shows and specials from Ground Zero Radio Productions in the future!
