   Gzur's Networking
Publishing - Writer - Other
I'd like to be involved with somebody creatively. Either to bounce off ideas or colloborate. I have a strong background in music and literature. Though you might not think it.
Music - Performance - Piano
I play piano. I play it good. I play it hard. I think there's a place in hell for the likes of me.

   Gzur's Blurbs
About me:
Behold the White King!

I play the piano, with some background in classical piano, but I play mostly 'jazz' of sorts - playing songs by chords instead of sheets, which gives much wider range for improvisation and dramatization.

I own three to five pairs of trousers - depending on you definition. On the other hand the number of shoes I own is the solid, undisputed number of 6(shoes, not pairs). I am deeply interested in literature, but only superficially so.

Once when I was kid, a neighbour came up to me and asked me whether I would like to own a pair of mice he had in a box. Nobody was home, so technically I was in charge, and had, in my view, full right to make decisions such as these. I promptly accepted. I remember having the mice at home, in the same box, for a week or so, but I don't remember what happened to them, most likely mom got rid of them and sold me some cockamamy story and I forgot about it. Must remember to ask mom.

I work as a software consultant for a company specializing in cartography and geographic information systems (and yes, that IS as exciting as it sounds).

I used to smoke pipe - and as a result most people had me pegged for the humanities. Nothing says pomo lit faggot like a good and stoked pipe, and had I not been waylaid by Fate, such had probably been my path. But Fate did step in and sent me a glossy pamphlet for a Computer Science degree. It had pictures of handsome guys with emo-glasses in pastel-colored turtlenecks pouring over snazzy laptops. Beside them were ponytailed blondes wearing Prada glasses and tight-fitting striped blouses, looking intrigued.

Try and tell me you wouldn't be sold by that...

I later found out that all the people in the pictures were studying Business and NOT Computer Science, but by that time, the die had been cast. So it goes.

Who I'd like to meet:
J.S. Bach's undertaker - I wonder if he still haves his liver
J.D. Salinger's laundry guy - $50 say he keeps all his bras.
Burt Reynolds - He is irrefutably Burt Reyndolds.

But first and foremost - anybody with similar or not so similar interests.

Electric Ethics (which is responsible for many of the most interesting electronic music-events last year), in collaboration with the Neo-Collective Movement (Nýja Samvinnuhreyfingin) and the electric-funhouse: Jacobsen (Austurstræti) – invites you to an exciting feast of music and visual effects: 1st of august - 22:00 o..clock (Verzlunarmannahelgin).

The Icelandic Electric-Green driven juggernauts: Stereo Hypnosis – are going to introduce their new upcoming album: “Hypnogogia”, which will be realized later in middle of august!

the album was recorded – more and less – totally inspired by Jules Vernes and his book: Voyage au Centre de la Terre, and the Icelandic – unbound nature.

What we can expect on this special night – besides Stereo Hypnosis;

Gjoll – who are going to introduce new material on their upcoming album;

AMFJ – who recently released his cassette-tape "Itemhljóð & Veinan" – and Wc Einar Krautzwel – he will also take care of the nights.. live music – plus many more exciting acts in this program of grandeur.

Entry is 1000 (Krónur) – appetizer is included (in courtesy of Mekka).

Details about the program can be found at:

myspace.com/electronicethics

myspace.com/stereohypnosis

and on Facebook – as well

he he you made a supportive comment on some survey thing, i felt bad about burning the flag, not because i care about flags but because the person who posted it before me said "no only a person with no morals or integrity would do that" and i think i have morals they just dont involve any worship of false icons

what are you up to this coming weekend? How are you doing with the krapa? Listen I read in the paper that kringlan was operating as a krapa-shelter, so if you need to take refuge somewhere there is that option
