About me:

A lot of people don't *get* me at first, but I have quirky sense of humor. I like to talk a lot, so people think I haven't got much to say, but I'm a lot smarter than you may think, and know a whole lot of little things about a whole lot of little things--mostly it's useless crap stuck in my head that I can't seem lose. (I've been told I'd be a phone-a-friend for several people if they ever made it to "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?")
I like some old fashioned hobbies: knit, crochet, gardening; and some newer ones: cycling, photography, scrapbooking.
Random facts about myself:
My husband was a blind date for my Senior prom
I've never smoked anything--EVER
I've had severe 2nd degree burns on both my feet, but 25+ years apart
I have donated blood, a kidney and my hair, and hope to be a marrow donor someday
I ran a triathlon at 38
