I have been playing the harp since I was a little girl. First I learned to play the classical harp and now I use the harp for the songs that I write. My songwriting started out with melodies and lyrics that popped into my head while biking through Amsterdam. My first performance as a singer-songwriter was in juli 2005.
Since that day I enjoy performing and hope to develop myself as singer-songwriter.
In the summer of 2007 I won the competition "Mooie Noten" for singer songwriters in Amsterdam. Stimulated by this price my first EP was released at the beginning of this year. Please listen to my songs! (AND DOWNLOAD MY SONG "Sweet Talk" FOR FREE!!!)

Hoi habiba! wat een allerliefst bericht dankjewel! het was ons een waar genoegen om met je op te treden en hopelijk tot gauw in de sappho groetjes Janna en Aino
ik heb je gezien bij de popronde in Eindhoven, de locatie was naast gemoedelijk ook een beetje pijnlijk vond ik, maar tussen de al dan niet enorm luidruchtige brabantse gezelligheid waren je zang en harp klanken echt prachtig. Ik heb pal voor je enorm zitten genieten, dus heel erg bedankt voor de inspiratie! Ik zie je graag nog eens live.
Hoe is het met je? Goeie reis terug gehad, hoop dat je niet weer zo lang in de file hebt moeten staan. Maarja de andere acts waren zeker tof alleen wat drukker dan jou. Ik vond je optreden echt heel mooi en bijzonder.
