I have been playing the harp since I was a little girl. First I learned to play the classical harp and now I use the harp for the songs that I write. My songwriting started out with melodies and lyrics that popped into my head while biking through Amsterdam. My first performance as a singer-songwriter was in juli 2005.
Since that day I enjoy performing and hope to develop myself as singer-songwriter.
In the summer of 2007 I won the competition "Mooie Noten" for singer songwriters in Amsterdam. Stimulated by this price my first EP was released at the beginning of this year. Please listen to my songs! (AND DOWNLOAD MY SONG "Sweet Talk" FOR FREE!!!)

i have a new favorite harpist!!! habiba, your oplaying is wonderful, but your singing is down right heart warming. every song blew me away, but "I Know" and then particularly "Frame of Mind" took hold, shook me around, and didn't let me go. Innovative, imaginative, so well done.
