Le nom du label représente tout simplement le
miroir de ceux qui font le son, un état créatif et
sans concessions où chacun de nous peut se
dire Habité par le mystère du son .
Introducing Flamen, Benthouz, Mr Hounck, Osmoz and Kharacho, Habité
records is a digital label evoking the mystery world that life deep in our bodies,
something mystery where music have a special place.
Habité records is made by people who live with music, create music without
any doubt and want to share it.
Our field of work is techno, house, minimal and experimental.
KHARACHO:
Dj since 1996, producer since 2002, Kharacho, Kharach ou Nicolas Quantin, whatever the name used to call him, has been part of the electro generation, the one who knew the rising of all styles, from the acid house to the minimal techno. Yesterday a fan of house and rave parties, then a party organizer in Nice, Paris or the Basque Country, djing from Tignes to Paris and from Bordeaux to San Sebastian, today resident dj of the Sonotone club, Bidart, France, his quite classical background of a man found of electronic music takes a new turn in 2009 with a live set to come and the creation of the label you're visiting:HABITé Records
FLAMEN:
Guillaume Flamen’s musical curriculum dates back to the piano lessons of his
early childhood, coupled to the nascent generation of electronic sound devices
for home production… SinclairZX81, Atari ST, drum machines etc.
A complex identity is then on the making, under the influence of the 80’s
synthpop generation on one side and more vanguardist and experimental sources
on the other side…
Now, after years of proteiform artistic practise, he has reached a point of
simple realization : he wants to have fun, and above all, wants to share it.

BENTHOUZ
Born in 81, Benjamin More aka Benthouz was dived into music in early childhood, he started at 5 singing the music theory taking piano lectures at the same time. A few years later, he quit lessons and start to compose short piano tracks just for pleasure.
At the age of 13 he started playing drums, and just got addicted to them. In 99, softwares and a computer was a logical step to create music and going further into rhytmics.
In 2002 he joined a reggae band named Jam Band that lived 2 years. He became fan of the guitar and started playing this instrument too.
In fact he became a talented multi instrumentist playing djambe and didgeridoo as well. After his band split, he dedicates his time to computer production, compositions devoted to hip-hop, rap, acoustic electro, funk, trance and techno instrumental tracks.
Benjamin started to reach for his own style.
In 2008, Benthouz drawn attention to Habité Records net label, and a few tracks are planned to be released in early 2009.
For this guy: "in music whatever instrument you use, whatever style you play, the main thing is to make it groove". Notice that this attitude is perfect for a dance music label.
MR HOUNCK
With his technical and cheerful selection Mr Hounck is a man that knows how to adapt himself to the public,
he can create real moments of happiness and generate an enthusiasm around him.
His friendly, simple and effective productions that he plays today could be qualified as Groovy, Deepminimal,
Deephouse, Techno, House, Minimaltech either Tekhouse, in fact this sound is the result of his personal synthesis of electronic dance music.
After Mr Hounck played on all the stages of the Basque Coast since the end of the 90s, he played at the Electrogaia Festival in San Sebastian
(Spain) and ended resident Dj in places such as Mama-Nature (mythical place of "la chambre d'amour")
and at the Sonotone, the alternative underground club he created at the end of 2006, and managed until 2009.
Now he's playing around Europe in places such as the Electrosonic festival in Burgos, sharing the programmation
with Richie Hawtin and many others.
Finally his composition talent will be out on our label very soon. He'll be part of the Habité records promotion tour thru Europe.
OSMOZ
20 years old dj from the west coast of France, he joined Habité records recently and his talent and motivation feet perfect to the philosophy we aim to follow. He plays a lot in different places and have eclectical taste that helps him in his local success.
POLIUM
From Anchorage, Alaska, Polium aka Camilo Pineda is a talented producer that deserve his success. He produces a lot and is ready to be known as an Habité producer. Check his sound to understand.

KHARACHO/ACCESS
à deux doigt de m'ennuyer, chose pas dans mes habitudes, je décide de relever la tête et d'enfiler l'armure du guerrier, allume cubase et décide d'un nouveau track, il s'appellera, no choice, ACCESS, car j'avais besoin de rentrer dans un monde différent et sourd, quelque part ou j'oublierai, ou la basse et la rythmique me mèneraient par le bout du nez, puis vint cette loop et la je fus conquis, même si la fin du track me rend nerveux, le boulot est avancé mais pas abouti, mais au moins j'ai "accédé".
FLAMEN/ANTONELLI RULES Antonelli, n.m, orig.ital., inv, marque de clavier analogique au son végétal et au coût minimal (10 € dans un vide-grenier dordognais.)
Entrer ce son dans une machine numérique et l'intégrer à un processus musical de danse ; le résultat surprend généralement le compositeur electro lui-même (qui souvent ne mise que sur la haute technologie pour créer sa matière.) Habité par cette nouvelle idée, celui-ci laisse alors entrevoir un dénouement aux fils multiples...
BENTHOUZ/TRANCEADDICT
Lors d'un long et éprouvant voyage dans de lointaines contrées du Pacific
sud, situé entre les musiques aborigènes et les chants hakkas, je me trouve dans
un endroit tout en relief et complètement entouré par les eaux chaudes
du lagon.
Bien évidement pour un Bisontin reclus dans le massif alpin depuis une demi
décennie, se retrouver sur une ile est étourdissant, les données sont
changées et au bout d'un certain temps le manque de repères se fait
ressentir...
Dans ce cas que faire ?
Moi j'appuie sur le bouton "on" de mon ordinateur
et lance le bon programme qui va bien juste pour me changer les idées!
Le temps de poser un bon Beat, une basse bien prenante, de l'arpège électro,
puis pour finir un chant de "sirène" avec des petites percus,.. et voila que nait une piste.
A ce moment, je me rends compte que mon morceau m'emporte de plus en plus haut, de plus en plus loin... Je m'envole!
Là, je me dis :" ça y est me voilà reparti pour un voyage mais transcendental cette fois!
