Habit Forming Films LLC is a dynamic film production company dedicated to producing uncompromising works of entertainment outside of the traditional Hollywood studio system.
Consisting of actors, directors, writers, producers, designers and artists, we're an ambitious, creative assemblage of professionals with a broad range of experience in the film industry, as well as other entertainment and artistic formats.
Our first project is BAD HABITS, a short film derived from a feature length script written by David Accampo and Jeremy Rogers. Bad Habits was a finalist in Project Greenlight 2003, and has since garnered high praise from industry sources and producers. In 2006, BAD HABITS won a Remi Award at the Houston Worldfest Film Festival. On March 28th, 2007, BAD HABITS screened as part of the opening night festivities at the Sacramento International Film Festival. BAD HABITS was nominated for two awards at the SIFF, and actor JACK (Brian) SWAY walked away from the closing night ceremonies with a BEST ACTOR award for his perfomance in BAD HABITS!
Our follow-up to BAD HABITS was THE LONG ROAD, which despite its name is actually the first short film in a no-budget anthology series titled Whiskey, Gun, Cigarette. THE LONG ROAD is currently being submitted to film festivals, and we have just learned that it will screen at the FAIF-AICAA International Film Festival in Hollywood!
Our third project is THE HOLLYWOOD INFORMANT, a 30's noir short produced in association with Geeworld Studios. We recently wrapped principle photography on THI, and we're very pleased with what we've got. This film marks a definite evolution in our directorship. The film is currently being edited by Geeworld Studios.
