Computers, gourmet cooking, blogging, the higher echelons of entertainment like the arts (Broadway), technology, singing, piano, reading, web design, playing tennis (at least trying to play)

Movies
I like movies with a plot and without "dumb comedy." I absolutely despise Jim Carey, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, and the like of them that are only "funny" just because they act idiotic or they experience some off-the-wall misfortunes. I hate movies like Office Space and Almost Heros. It's sad how movies have been "dumbed down" over the years to cater to the apparent mainstream mentality.
Basically, I'm drawn to movies with a plot or some comedy that requires one to have some higher education.
Furthermore, I ABSOLUTELY HATE going to (or just plain watching) the movies on a Saturday night. What a waste of time! I'd rather be interacting with friends than watching somebody live their life while we could be living ours! To me, movies are a last resort to remedy mind-shattering boredom!
Television
IF I EVEN HAD TIME I like watching Desperate Housewives, American Dad, Gossip Girl, King of the Hill, Women's Murder Club, Simpsons, Daria, and Robot Chicken.
Books
Hmmm ... Computer books or corporate insider anecdotal stories like Proudly Serving My Corporate Masters.
Heroes
Bree Van de Camp, Darren Rowse, Old People Who Can Proficiently Use a Computer, and Self-made Men (and Women!)
People who aren't racist, who aren't two-faced, who aren't totally different around each crowd, who TRULY don't care what others think, who stick up for what's right, who don't always feel the need to be in a relationship, or who are not ordinary but still appear mainstream, etc
The greatest want of the world is the want of men [and women] — men [and women] who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men [and women] who will not be bought or sold, men [and women] who in their inmost soul are true and honest, men [and women] whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men [and women] who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.

I miss you:( Thanksgiving weekend without you is just not right! Oh but I did realize that I too don't really like the DFW area. I keep thinking about where I want to go out and Nada! This place is nothing without Robyn and Edsel. They were what made it great. Now I just want to come back to SA
