Hadassah began her love for
music and entertaining at the young age of two, when she performed with her
family in a musical in New York State. Since then Hadassah has appeared in
over 25 musicals. She got her first taste of Nashville at the age of ten when
she went into KMA Records and recorded her debut album with songs written by
the late Jimmy Crane (most popularly known for his hit song "Hurt".) Hadassah
has won numerous awards for her music . Most recently she received entertainer
of the year (2004,2006) and The International Golden World Award (2005,2006)
from the TCMA. In 2005 Hadassah had the opportunity of appearing on the Sandra
Boynton and Michael Ford book and CD collaboration "Dog Train" where she was
included with a great team of artist including Alison Krauss, Hootie & The
Blowfish, and The Bacon Brothers. For this project Hadassah had the
opportunity to perform at Symphony Space (NYC), and The Kennedy Center
(Washington , DC). In 2005 Hadassah played "Young Anna Hofman" in the Broadway
workshop for Mary Murfits newest musical "Home" (Manhattan Theater Club, NYC.)
In 2006 Hadassah joined the entertainment team at DollyWood and played
"Birdcage" in their debut season of their award winning show "Dreamland
Drive-In." Since 2001 Hadassah has had the privilege of being a spokesperson
for the Children's Rights Council (along with Grand Ole Opry Member Ernie
Ashworth) , and performs for their annual conference in DC, including a
performance at the British Embassy.
