In Quebec city suburbs, a friendship story started out between three musicians. Those didn't know yet that, together, they would create a perfect sound mix, going beyond all their expectations. They afterwards encountered a talented singer, who immediately took part in their project.
Hard as Diamond : Nothing harder. This conviction defined the band's aspirations for their music. They were indeed going to devote themselves to Progressive Hard Rock.
Shaping complex pieces, the band aims for originality without any contents limitation. Rhythms & percussions inspired jazz, polyrhythmic riffs and vocal used to its higher potential should allow H.A.D. to settle in the great world of music.
The listening of many music celebs allowed the band to find and develop their inspiration, among which Choke, Thrice, Coheed and Cambria, Brazil, Copeland, The Arcade Fire, Ghost of Modern Man, Minus The Bear, This Day Forward, Glassjaw, These Arm Are Snakes, At The Drive In, Mars Volta, Our Lady Peace, Biology etc... Anything, up to old vinyl records recovered at their places.

Hard As Diamond :: Rien de plus dure qu'un diamand :: C'est en cette conviction que le band a su definir sa musique. En effet, pour lui, il est important de decrire ce a quoi celui-ci se devoue: Progressive Hard Rock.
Fait de complexite, il tente de faconner ses morceaux en s'y fixant de grands buts, originalite, sans toujours s'imposer de limites au contenu de leurs pieces. Rythmique et percussions tirees du jazz, riffs polyrithmiques et voix utilisee a son plus haut potentiel sont pour H.A.D. un acquit qui lui permettra de faire sa place dans le grand monde de la musique.
