About me:
Ken Masters his first name, in Japanese, means Fist) is a video game character created by Capcom. He is from the Street Fighter series of fighting games, and is seen wearing a red gi. Originally, save for a few animations, he was the same as Ryu: the only way to effectively have two identical characters fight each other in the original version Street Fighter II was to have one player play as Ryu and the other play as Ken. However, with the advent of "mirror matches" (same character vs.) in Street Fighter II': Champion Edition, Capcom needed to vary the "Uppercut Brothers"' playing styles a bit. Ryu was given a stronger Fireball and a one-hit knockdown Hurricane Kick, while Ken was given a wider arcing Dragon Punch and a faster Hurricane Kick. In Super Street Fighter II, Ken began deviating from Ryu further being given a flaming Shoryuken. In the next SFII installment: Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Ken was given the super combo Shoryu Reppa (which was simply Ken's Jab and Strong Dragon Punches chained together) and a number of different command kicks, plus a new jumping Forward and a Knee Bash hold. By Street Fighter III, Ken has two Shoryuken Super Arts (Shouryu Reppa and Shinryuken) from the Street Fighter Alpha series and the new Shippu Jinrai Kyaku Super Art, and in Street Fighter EX3, he has a meteor combo (a Level 3 super combo) called Kuzuuryu Reppa, a mix of his other three Super Arts. Ken was born in America on February 14, 1965. He stands 178 cm ( 5' 10") and weighs 72 kg. His blood type is B. He enjoys driving and is good at cooking pastas. He dislikes soap operas. He is 3/4 Japanese and 1/4 Caucasian; his father is half-Caucasian and half-Japanese, while his mother is full-blood Japanese. He has dark hair, which he dyes blonde, and flared black eyebrows. While his original voice was a re-use of the Ryu sound files, from Super Street Fighter II on, Ken's voice was performed by Kenji Haga. Tetsuya Iwanaga did Ken's voice in the Street Fighter Alpha series, and Koji Tobe did Ken's voice in the Street Fighter III games. In other media, Damian Chapa portrayed Ken in the 1994 Street Fighter movie, and by Scott McNeil in the Street Fighter animated series. He was voiced by David Lucas in the Street Fighter Alpha OAV.
