Hagalma es una agrupacion de Heavy-Power Metal que se origina en Marzo de 2007 por los musicos Ariel Nieto y Mauricio Gonzalez, con la idea de crear una banda que reuniera caracteristas entre la melodia y complejidad del genero, con algunos elementos de Metal extremo, sin que con ello llevara a perder melodia y mantuviera la fuerza que caracteriza a cada vertiente del metal.
La banda con mas de 2 años de Experiencia, es conocida por participar en el CD Tributo "Historia de una Rebelion" el cual es un tributo a la conocida agrupacion de Thrash Metal de la ciudad de Bogota NEUROSIS INC, tambien dentro de su discografia se cuenta con el Demo - Single "El arte del Engaño" el cual la banda se ha dado a conocer a diversos rincones de la geografia Colombiana y ha tocado en varias ciudades como Girardot, Neiva, Facatativa e Ibagué, ademas de pasar fronteras en paises como Ecuador y Chile.
El concepto que maneja Hagalma en la parte musical, parte de una base que va del Heavy-power metal de bandas americanas y Europeas, junto a ello, maneja elementos musicales entre el Thrash Metal de vertiente mas técnica, el Death Metal Melodico y el Metal Progresivo, dando diversos matices musicales donde convergen de forma perfecta la melodía, la fuerza, pero también la dureza y mucho sentimiento en cada tema de la agrupación.
En la parte lirica, Hagalma se enfoca en liricas en castellano, aunque hay un pequeño espacio para el Ingles, la banda habla en sus liricas, de tematicas que involucran al individuo con el mundo circundante, de historia, literatura latinoamericana y liricas con enfoque existencialista e introspectivo del mundo.

Hagalma is a Heavy-Power Metal band that begin Activities in March 2007 by the musicians Ariel Nieto and Mauricio Gonzalez, with the idea of creating a band that include elements of melody and complexity of the Heavy and Power metal, with elements of extreme metal, without it leading to lose and keep the melody that characterizes every sub-genres of the metal.
The band with more than 2 years of experience in scene, is known to participate in the tribute CD "Historia de una Rebelion," which is a tribute to the famous Colombian Thrash Metal Band, NEUROSIS INC, well within his discography is has the Demo - Single "El Arte Del Engaño," which the band has become known in various corners of the Colombian geography, besides passing borders in countries like Ecuador and Chile.
The concept that manages Hagalma in the musical part of which is a base of power Heavy-metal bands of American and European acts, along with it, runs between the musical elements of Thrash Metal is more technical side, the Melodic Death Metal and Progressive Metal , with different shades converge in a musical where the perfect melody, the strength, but toughness and much feeling for each item in the group.
In the lyric, Hagalma focuses on lyrics in Spanish, though there is a small space for the English, the band speaks in his lyrics, themes involving the individual with the surrounding world, history, Latin American literature and lyrical approach with existentialist and introspective of the world.
