I am working on after school art programs for ghetto (inner-city) youth, aiming to empower them with resoources, mindsets, and skillsets that will immediately and continually assist them in supporting themselves, their families and their community.
As a member of the Universal ZULU Nation ( CALAFIA CHAPTER ) I strive to give my natural gifts BACK to the community, through HIPHOP culture, which has blessed me with the freedom of expression that allows me to be a bright light in dimming and crippling society.
As far as music, I will use any and everything to orchestrate and produce. I've done work for and with big and small names, but treat all projects with the same respect. This is how I've established a respect in the community without years of formal training. I look at everything as color so when producing, I like to splash and blend. I've been experimenting with basic "DILLA-Style" Chops for a while as a practice method for keeping it simple, which i struggle with. Growing up on strictly jazz till like 13 has given me a desire to add crazy layers and avant-garde movements within a track. I look forward to creating more acoustic compositions and ambient down-tempo music.
