The key question isn't "What fosters creativity?" But it is why in God's name isn't everyone creative? Where was the human potential lost? How was it crippled? I think therefore a good question might be not why do people create? But why do people not create or innovate? We have got to abandon that sense of amazement in the face of creativity, as if it were a miracle if anybody created anything.
I'm excited to announce the release of my first book, entitled "Words and Spaces in Between". 60 writings / 20 sketches from the last 5 years... Check my page for details.
"If you're a tireless artist, or a quirky drunk, or a pothead w/ initiative, than this book is for you. In short, a great read while you're on the crapper!" -Me
"...Adler's music and lyrics are accessible, but refreshingly devoid of cliches... one who is awake to the tragedy of living, but almost a wizard at overcoming its effects" -Fringe Magazine
"Jakob Adler's talent for folk indie music is undeniable. His songs are as twisted and unexpected as his sketches" -PDXPole.com
