Chris Devine - bio ...
Richard E. Moore - bio ...

Influences

Chris cites: Old Blind Dogs, Silly Wizard, Spirit of the West, John Gorka, Lowen & Navarro, BoDeans, Dan Fogelberg, Wolfstone, Christy Moore, Eric Bogle, Deacon Blue, Uisce Beatha, Pet Shop Boys and Spandau Ballet.

Richard cites: REM, Pixies, Replacements, Live, Tori Amos, Belle & Sebastian, Flaming Lips, Ben Folds, Ani DiFranco, Bob Dylan, Crowded House, Death Cab for Cutie, Psychic TV, Depeche Mode, Harry Nilsson, Indigo Girls, Information Society, Jane’s Addiction, Soul Coughing, Modest Mouse, Nick Cave, Noah Miles, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Talking Heads, Simon and Garfunkel, Spacehog, The Cure, Dead Milkmen, Kingston Trio, Hafler Trio, Kronos Quartet, They Might Be Giants, Toad the Wet Sprocket, U2, Violent Femmes, and various other old folkies and weird and random people that I have met along my travels.

Sounds Like

If you took all our influences and make, not a soup exactly, but more of a goulash, that's sort of how it goes ... a chunk of Scottish folk here, a spoonful of REM, garnish with Lowen & Navarro or Peter Gabriel and a generous dollop of ... well, you get the picture. And like goulash, it all comes off as more than the sum of its ingredients.

Once we were told that we sounded like like a "Celtic Crosby, Stills and Nash." That might give you starting point.

Caturday, an evening of music and mixtapes, is happening this Saturday at the Trunk Space.

In addition to the amazing lineup of:
- Fluorescent Pastries
- Night Wolf
- Dangerville
- Uggamugga
- Foot Ox

There will be a mixtape trade!  So, bring your own mixtapes (and, yes, mix CDs) to trade with folks!

All of this for just $5!

M'kay...just thought I'd let you know that I'm totally in love with your video. Cracked my shit up. Though I'm kind of freaked out by the fact that Richard sorta looks like Jesus at the end... hmm.

I normally don't do this, but we've got a new song up on our profile.

It's called Over, and we're really proud of it.

Drop by and let me know what you think, if you're so inclined.

Incidentally, we're also looking for good drummer jokes... He he...
