About me: I am Hailey (as you may have already figured out). I am a Senior at Milligan College. I have the most awesome friends in the whole entire world and one of the coolest jobs. oh, I know I'll be home soon. We leave Berlin the 18th and spend our last three days in Munich so that's going to be fun. I'm glad I don't have too much longer though, familiar things are always nice!
It's hard not to think about home. I've never been gone for this long before and there are certain things about home that I miss that Berlin doesn't have. I have taken a crap load of pictures! Over 300 I think, lol. I've been to so many places! The Brandenburg gate, inside the tv tower observatory, been to the Reichstag building, been to the Stasi prison, been to the Konzerthaus to see an orchestra concert, I've been to the Philharmonie, I've seen the remains of the Berlin wall, and I've seen the Holocaust monument. Not only that but I've been to the largest shopping district here, the Kudamm. It's insane! A seven story super mall! With all sorts of shops and stuff outside! I am having fun, but I do miss being at home.
I'm in Berlin. I'm doing an exchange program with a school over here with my school. It's a three week exchange. I only have 12 days left but being away from home is getting to me. I come back the 22nd but my mom and meh boyfriend have reserved me for the 22n and the 23rd. It's going to be interesting, the two of them at dinner on the 22nd, lol. Via message I'll give you my phone number and we'll arrange something, but don't try to call me 'til I get back because I have absoultely no service over here at all. It kinda sucks because my phone is always on me, lol. We'll figure out something though and it will be easier now that I'm out for the summer.
