The Dicker Players present: Radio Daze

A nostalgic dip into early 60’s radio comedy with a few songs thrown in for good measure. The Dicker Players as you’ve never seen them before - you could even watch it with your eyes shut! £7.50 (bring your own picnic and drink).

Kaleidoscope Workshops 10am and 2pm Hailsham Leisure Centre A walk-in creative workshop based on colour exploration for children (up to ten years) and parents run by local artist Veronica van Eijk. A fun-based investigation of colour using Veronica’s installation piece Dance and See-Reflections with an chance to experience colour-layering. You will also get the opportunity to make together your own vibrant and exciting art pieces using the materials provided.

The evening begins with an energetic Salsa class, suitable for all, Sarah Black and Julian Sutherland Beatson will get you dancing even if you are a complete beginner. ‘ Los Tangueros’ perform a series of exciting dance routines including the Argentine Tango. This diverse group are trained by professional dance teachers ken and Joan Stephens and have performed extensively over the last four years. Lots of dancing and fun!

Art at the Chantry

A joint exhibition of paintings by The Gryphons Group (Botanical, Gardens and the Countryside) and Chris Liddiard - his paintings, sometimes realistic, sometimes not, are inspired by the village and the surrounding countryside. The Chantry is a beautifully restored chapel in Middle Lane, which runs between Rushlake Green and Three Cups. From Hailsham take A271 Battle Road, follow the signpost for Rushlake Green at Amberstone. From Heathfield and Battle take B2096, at Three Cups take Middle Lane towards Rushlake Green. Rushlake Green and Turners Green can also be reached via Windmill Hill, through Bodle Street Green. Please look out for the “Art Today” signs. 01435 864271
