Music, Drawing, Music, Writing, Gigs, Music, Going out with my friends..... erm did I mention Music?
Music
Rock, Metal, Blues.... and I do actually like Hair Metal (its a guilty pleasure... really, you gotta love Europe!!) My favourite bands/artists: David Lee Roth (my God), Tyla and the Dogs D'Amour, The Quireboys,Pretty Boy Floyd (actually named my dog after them), Faster Pussycat, Megadeth, Velvet Revolver, Iron Maiden, Rob Zombie/White Zombie, Poison, Alice Cooper Also love The Doors, Type O Negative, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Doro, Europe, Dr.Hook and the Medicine Show, Aerosmith, Backyard Babies,ZZ Top, Dream Theatre, Cinderella, Lita Ford and Warrant..... and last but definitely not least.... BABYLON FADING!!!!!! (I've promised them I'll make them famous!)
Movies
Bill and Ted (Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey - I love both of them, only time you'll here me be positive about something starring Keanu Reeves!!)
Spinal Tap
Wayne's World (1&2)
House of 1000 Corpses
The Devil's Rejects
Robin Hood: Men In Tights
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
Braindead (just kidding!!)
V For Vendetta
Pirate's Of The Carribean (1,2 and probably 3!!!)
Edward Scissorhands
Sleepy Hollow
Masque of the Red Death (Vincent Price is a GOD!!!)
and Casablanca (what can I say? It's a classic!)
Television
My Name is Earl! It's so good, anyone else find Jason Lee hot? The Simpsons (a bit of an obvious choice really - nearly everybody loves them!) and that's about it! I really hate soaps (since they cancelled Sunset Beach - but I count that as a comedy anyway!) and I think that modern British comedy is just painful! Just wait until my sit-com's on TV......
Books
I like band biographies! Run To The Hills - Mick Wall and Gabba Gabba Hey by Everett True were really good as well as Crazy From The Heat by David Lee Roth (quite hard to follow in places but entertaining nonetheless!) - I recommend them to anyone! Also love Martha Grimes' Richard Jury mysteries..... fuckin hilarious!!!
Heroes
Tyla, Doro Pesch, Alice Cooper, Susan Holmes, Lauren Bacall, Jessica Rabbit, Sheri Moon Zombie and any rock star from the 70s or 80s

"Everything about me has to be dramartic. Everything with me has to be full of emotion and drive and tragedy and catastrophe, valor and victory. Not to the extent of feeling a deathly sense of loss because someone butted in front of me in the movie line, but in the spirit of living large. Every day I rejoice about something and I'm totally delighted and I'm the most fortunate guy on Earth" - David Lee Roth
Hey,I'm Hair Metal Karen, originally from Motherwell, just outside of Glasgow but now living in New South Wales, Australia! I love rock music, especially Tyla and the Dogs D'Amour and the Quireboys, mainly cuz I love live music and you just can't beat those guys for a good show! I'm extremely creative and tend to do a shitload of drawing and scriptwriting and I have a tendency to make my own clothes every now and then. I swear too much, don't drink a lot unless gran visits and tend not to sleep, however none of this is the reason for my insanity.... I've always been this way! I sometimes take an irrational dislike (hatred) to people I've never met and I get really obsessed/compulsive about my favourite bands, it's an addiction! And check out my best friends' band Babylon Fading... you'll like them, they're fucking metal!!!
Who I'd like to meet: Tyla..... and all the rest of The Daves! Quireboys (well, the ones I've not met before... OK! and the two that I have!!), Velvet Revolver, Bret Michaels, Blackie Lawless, Rob Zombie and Sheri Moon and Izzy Stradlin (and a lot more!) Also any potential make-up clients (my prices are very reasonable!!!)
