A brief history...
The Hairless Heart Herald was first published as a 'newspaper' in 1994 and covered music, comedy and a bit of humorous fiction.
The basic idea was mooted by graphic designer Chris White (the first Editor) whose incessant pestering and pleading of 'go on go on go ob go on, oh go on..' left reviewer Jem with little option.
Prog bassist, John Jowitt, was if you will pardon the pun, instrumental with guiding us with the format when at a lunch with Jem at a hostelry near Worcester raved on about the pub's own humorous publication.
Due to other workloads, Jem and Chris realised they could no longer devote the time that was needed with 'HHH' and the final edition was published at the end of 1995.
Circumstances changed in 2001 when due to ill health, Jem was forced to take early retirement from his job in Finance. In the early hours of a Sunday morning, he decided to grab the wotsit by the doodahs and create an online version of HHH.
Despite a few setbacks due in the main to poor health, The Hairless Heart Herald continues to exist.
And with Graham Greene (see video below), Steve Morris and Jane Vincent in the HHH team, long may it continue.
