Sounds Like"Behind walls of intertwining sounds is buckets of energy and charm such as that found in the beat box intro to 'Boots and Cats' and the melodic shifts such as the lovely couple of minutes towards the end of 'These Are The Dogs In My Life Part 2'. Even at their most loud and frantic during 'Last Man In Irkutsk' it never sounds anything less than euphonious."
- Robots Made Me Do It

"Hair Traffic Control are a quality band that should be booked on bills and listened to with ears."
- thesonicminefield

"Awesome mid-western influenced guitar and incredible song mayhem"
- Safetydance

"Whimsical post-rock digressions"
- Maddog Magazine

"The EP gets off to a solid start with the instantly catchy pop-punk of opener ‘Thanks For the Beer’, but it’s the more introspective moments here that really shine. ‘Are We Not Reasonable People?’ is a fragile delight whilst ‘The One With the Brutal Face Pounding’ is the real highlight here. Starting out like the more hyperactive twin of Hot Club De Paris' ‘Clockwork Toy’, it’s a rollercoaster of spazzy guitars and intricate drumming before drifting to a wistful halt."
- Godisinthetv

"Upbeat math-pop done right, even if they do have a stupid name."
- Big Scary Monsters

"The name is silly not stupid"
- The Good Ship

   About Hair Traffic Control

BIOGRAPHHHY

We're Hair Traffic Control and these are our faces. We've just put some new songs up, our first as a four piece, and are looking to play them at some faces around the place. If you're feeling flush, why not buy some of our stuff so we can spend the money on brylcream and colour photocopying? If not, why not listen to the songs for free on here and we'll just have to settle for putting soap in our sizely quiffs and praying it doesn't rain. Yeah!

Well the thing is, it is a big tune, one of the biggest and in order to do it justice you really might have to practice it for maybe two or three years, those harmonies are unbelievable complex! xx

Cheers. Yeah, Itchi were awesome!  They played it all live, no overdubs. When bands know their songs that well it makes it sooo much easier to get the energy across.

Would love to come see you guys again but am playing a show up in stoke on saturday. Have a good one though and let me know next time your looking to record. Would be happy to hook you guys up with a hearty discount :)
