NOW!! GET HOME AT LAST'S NEW "25 THE HARD WAY" FROM CD BABY: http://cdbaby.com/cd/hatlast2
HOME AT LAST, based in southern New Jersey, delivers crisp and intelligent "snap-crackle-pop" rock music in the real "classic" tradition. Comprising guitarists Ernie Trionfo and Steve Shurman, bassist/keyboardist Bruce Pike, and percussionist Charlie Andaloro, HOME AT LAST has released four CDs, all on the indie Smiling Moose label: "Line By Line" (1989); "You Can't Fight Fiction" (1993); "Perfectly Good Cigar” (1997); and their latest CD "Radio Silence" (2006). In addition, they released a 4-song EP called "Warmer September" in 1992. They've won numerous awards, and have performed at countless "name" (and not-so-"name") venues on the East Coast, playing for the greatest fans an indie band could ever ask for. With the release of the most recent CD "Radio Silence," HOME AT LAST is entering a new era of musical adventures, and you're invited! Get your copy of the "Radio Silence" CD by clicking the little CD cover above.

OK, that's the "official" blurb. Here's the more direct and personal version...
For almost a quarter of a century, we've been a band of musicians that stay the course wherever it leads. We don’t give a hoot about what’s going on around us in the business, because that’s all that garbage is… it’s business… which is all about the suits in the NY or LA or Nashville offices making big money off of “green” kids who don’t know any better. We’ve never been real popular with those business types because we’ve always tried to stand by our musical principles. Hopefully that integrity translates to people getting on board with us and enjoying the ride, because we’re going to a different place than a lot of other folks seem to be going. If you want to go to the same old musical places, hear the same sounds, or just want some audio wallpaper to play video games by, or to clean the kitchen by, or if you want some controlled noise to go along with your personal angst, then we’re really not for you.
I will say this: whatever we do and however we do it, it's first got to be something we’re all willing and able to commit to. And we learned a long time ago that whatever comes forth from our collective efforts, it comes forth in a time and in a way that none of us really expected at the beginning because this band really has a life and a way of moving all it’s own that we only have partial control over. But it’s been a pretty interesting ride so far. And no, it’s not too late if you want to come on board!

Dear Ernie and Charlie; I am in recluse mode right now. Phone is off. I want to be alone but am so lonely. I want to talk but don't know what to say. Mike Bailey passed away. He got into his hot tub Saturday night and died. The dog barked until the neighbors called police who entered and found him. I don't think I ever got the chance to tell him how much I loved him or about the great effect he had on me. He was older than me and when I was a boy he was the first to introduce me to; " The Boogie - The Blues." And later he introduced me to Mister Tom Waits who became apart of me. And so much Mountain, Bluegrass and Old Timey music. As children growing up together in turbulent times and as bandmates in PFR, we were very lucky to have all we had and to experiance such great growing up together and being spared some of the horrors that were going on around us during the 60's. It is now that I am realizing about what a great all empowering part Mike was in that and what a colorful part he was in," PFR." Before you or I pass on to our next journey, just wanted to tell you again; I love you guys and will never forget that growing up together that was so unbelieveble. Charlie and to you please forgive me for not being in better touch with you. I know I usually give Ernie the news and he passes it along to you. But that does not mean my feelings are minimalized for you. I will be sending the service arrangements info along soon to your private e- mail. Love Joey
