About Hale To The Cullens: A Twilight Series Podcast
We are two English majors (Erika,22, and Rebecca,21) at the University of North Florida. Rebecca and Erika met in a Writing class of all places (who would have thought English majors in a Writing class), when we were given the assignment of writing a magazine, well actually it was the whole class was given the assignment, but Erika and Rebecca hit it off when Erika asked if she could do a book review of the Twilight Series. Rebecca jumped in and asked to join and make it a Feature for the magazine and we could do the whole series. That was the beginning of a wordless conversation, friendship between the two girls. Our podcast will have a more analytical and literature based podcast, though we will talk about the movies, have debates, themes, and turn into squealing fangirls in a moments notice, we are going to try and keep this as informative and fun as possible. This page is for people to ask questions about whatever they want, but if they want them answered on our Podcast they must submit them to haletothecullens@gmail.com otherwise all queries will be answered in a blog once a week depending on the amount of messages we have.
We are actually a podcast. Right now we are just getting underway. We had a regular page, but we decided to move to a music page when I (Erika) did some research on podcasts and realized our first cast wouldn't go up until 2 weeks after we submitted it to iTunes, well until we have a fanbase, then it will get up faster. This is going to hold our first couple of podcasts so people don't actually have to wait two weeks for it, unfortunately once our casts are up on iTunes we will only be putting special podcasts and outtakes on here.
We brought this over from our old myspace page, it is our who we'd like to meet section. We are really proud of it, and we figured we would transfer it over. So without further ado

So what are your opinions on the New Moon trailer that was released during the MTV movie awards and the poster?
hey hey im patiently waiting for twilight to comeout on dvd here in australia 9 days have you guys checked it out yet are the deleted and extended scenes as awesome as they are saying. Im getting depressed I loaned my burnt copy of it out to my aunt and im coming down hahahaha im desperate for the movie to come out already. We are hoping that we are the ones that win the trip to the premiere of New Moon for preordering at big w but if we dont we are going to hunt down the girl that does murder her in her sleep and take the tickets. Rob is worth anything.
Hey guys im desperately waiting for the next podcast. Hey I had a thought when Bella is hearing Edward in her mind in NEW Moon is it because he can subconsiously put his thoughts into her mind even though he dosnt know shes in danger. Like When I first read it I figured its in her head she wants it so badly for him to be still watching out for her but do you think it really is him doing it with no knowledge
hi im casey, it just came to my attention that in Twilight it says Bella has got greeny-blue eyes, and then in like Breaking Dawn it says that Renesmee has got the same shade of brown eyes, i just thought you would like to know. Thank-you.

HaHaHaHa thankgod I think its just the spag nite and possibly the funeral maybe they mite not feel the need to expand on it seen as they are small couple page things maybe we will get lucky and they wont put them in at all and just look for Leah for Eclipse that sounds better....I wont have to gauge my eyes out joy I didnt really want to do it I wouldnt be able to enjoy Rob's gorgeous face that would suck. I literally got up at 5am this morning downloaded the new podcast and listened I havnt even had a shower yet hahahahah U guys come first when theres a new one some people call it sad I call it "commited". I'm a tad depressed though Twilight is down to its last week or two here then I am going to have to wait til April for the dvd ( maybe someone will think to get it for my bday-cough-cough-Martina!!!) We are actually going to see it for the like 10th time at the Kings Park Movies under the stars we got free tickets joy!!!!! I have to say though I seemed to miss quite a few things when I was reading Twilight though and even though I have pretty much non-stop read all 4 books since October I am only now picking up on all the little things-sad much- I think I get too much into the story and don't think hahah I guess i'm much like Bella that way when Edward deliberately tries to dazzle her I miss things because all I can picture is Rob doing it thats dazzling enough hahahahha
Please Please Please Please PLEASE don't quit the podcast.... I hate (no thats the wrong word) I absolutely loath Vanessa Hudgens I don't want her anywhere near the Movies she will completely ruin it for me. I've already promised to personally gauge my eyes out if I have to sit in the cinema and watch her even if its only a minute. I will just not see New Moon at all or the others. I will just have to make do with Twilight. I don't want to have to watch her sully a great thing... WTF are summit thinking????? But please continue with the podcasts put up a petition or something I will sign it. I'm actually considering doing one myself and circulating it most of Australia is absolutely furious that she is even being considered. I have actually put up a long heated discussion on the boards of every Twilight group i'm with about this issue and Summits continuing narcisistic approach to everything Twilight. I'm sick and tired of it

Just thought I would let you know I managed to pick up a copy of the script signed by Kristen and Rob its original thank god coa and all just the fact Rob has touched it means its going in the glass case hahahahah my wonderful partner got it for me for christmas (and I thought he didnt care lolololol) Anyways I cant wait for the next podcast I was hanging out all last month man how could you do that to me hahahahahahaha catchas later guys
Just decided to stop by and say how much I loved your holiday podcast! Rebecca! How could you never see Christmas Story before this Christmas? Thats crazy! I've grown up watching it each year with my family! Its one of my favorite movies, especially during the holiday season.
The chapter discussion was also very awesome! I can't wait for the next podcast.

OMG just one more week til we get to see TWILIGHT in Australia. I'm sooooooooooo excited. Me and my bestie have decided to dress up a bit for opening night. Ive cut off all my hair exactly like Alices We got t-shirts and hoodies made up and we are going to wear contact lenses like the Cullens!!!! We thought we'd have a bit of fun so I will have to send you some piccies!!!!!
I really LOVE your last podcast, since some of the other Twilight podcast aren't that glad about the movie. I really like that you don't do anything hate either if it's Breaking Dawn, or Twilight the movie. That's why I like your podcast alot, please I cannot wait to hear your detail review of the movie, and I wouldn't mind if it was over two hours long. Oh. and about the whole Victoria/James thing you two were discussing on the podcast. I think that James wants to love Victoria, but maybe his ability is what keeps him from being able to. Maybe his ability controls his instincts... like the way he decided to hunt Bella even though he was out-numbered and a lot weaker than the Cullens. Maybe he can't really control his urge to hunt and track... idk.
