Half Demon Doll is an four piece rock band. Hailing from Minneapolis, MN, the young band have become favorites in the Twin Cities scene, winning over music fans of all ages with their unique sound that weaves together essences of pop, alternative, and punk. Recently they won Teen Vogue's "Rock Meets the Runway" Competition after a stellar performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, NYC, and are currently in negotiations with Stevie Van Zandt's record label, Lost Cathedral Records. The band's song "Isolation" has been featured on New York's Rock Experience radio station, 101.9 RXP, several times.
The girls met in 2007 at Girls Rock n Roll Retreat, a rock camp for girls held every summer in Minneapolis. After writing three songs in three days and putting on a killer performance at the camp finale, they decided to remain a band after camp. They continued writing new material and recorded their first demo the following winter.
Half Demon Doll has performed all around the state of Minnesota since their first gig together at rock camp. Noteworthy shows include the MN State Fair, The Depot, First Ave, The Garage, Teenstock, Rosefest, The Stone Arch Festival, their legendary gig at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, and many, many more!
The band is currently recording their debut album at CoreSource Productions in Minneapolis, MN. Scheduled release is February, 2010.

Those guys were at the Teens Alone thing last night. They got 1st. They were real good, and I think you guys would sound good with each other if you ever wanted to set up a show with them...ya know? That's my opinion though...but check them out anyways (:
