Sounds Like
haLf man haLf eLf music sounds like an amalgamation of all his musical influences.
I now seldom check out MySpace account primarily because most of the so-called bands and artists here whom I used to give high respect were NOT really artists after all, but instead are merely advertisers.
As a little known artist myself for almost twenty years now, of course I know that promoting my band is a big help in spreading my music to as many musical-minded persons as possible. But I know where to draw the line, and I know if I’m already invading other people or artists’ precious time and Net space.
I don’t give or post obvious SPAM messages.
I am not naive, and I believe that many of you are not naive yourselves, so stop acting naivettes by posting pretend missives that are simply blatant self-advertisements.
If your purpose is to promote your band or music, sorry to say that it’s not really effective, because instead of encouraging people to check out your MySpaces, such soul-less messages simply annoy and disgust.
I’m sure you yourself does not want to receive a message saying...Hey, haLf man haLf eLf, you are great! Kindly check out our latest album, blah-blah-blah!!!
But have you checked out my profile? And have you even alloted a few minutes to listen to one of my original compositions posted on this page of mine?
If the answer is yes, then you’re one of the bands and musicians that I’m referring to.

Luke Lukas is back with an album full of that gleeful gloom that made us love him at first sight. His trustworthy 4-tracks and him go their separate ways so he's now presenting 12 perfectly arranged folk songs to us. Luke reveals himself as a kind soul, but like the western movies taught us, a dreadful killer always hides under every placid looking Texan.
"Leaving his strongly lo-fi sound that impressed us the first time, he treasures the recipe, packing in this new plain, delightful work a caring love for vocals, which are worthy of Neutral Milk hotel, with a touch of Chordettes feel."Daniele Dileo - Lab Magazine
