Mr. Dave and Miss Bev (Half Pint Harmony) are definitely a big hit with munchkin sized fans in the child care centers and the Pre-Kindergarten classes they’ve been lucky enough to visit to date. In fact there’s one group of toddlers that shout, “Rock On, Mr. Dave… Rock On, Miss Bev,” at the end of music class every Tuesday morning! Talk about feeling like rock stars!!
Mr. Dave is Dave Preston. He has written many original songs over the years and has a small following of listeners in lands near and far thanks to music sites like Song Ramp and Sound Click. As “half” of Half Pint Harmony, his job is to play guitar and lead the singing. It’s lots of fun and pretty easy, so sometimes he gets a little silly.
Mr. Dave's first children’s CD, "Sing With Mr. Dave", has been a hit with kids, parents and teachers alike. It features ten tracks, some of which you can listen to above. Mr. Dave is currently working on a second CD tentatively titled, “All Good Babies”, featuring original songs for the under two set.
Miss Bev is Bev Compertore. Kids love her puppets and finger plays and the way she keeps every class moving from song to song in fun and energetic ways. Miss Bev's way of keeping kids engaged during music class comes from years of experience working with children - as a mom, a teacher, a camp counselor and more.
In addition to visiting local day care centers on a regular weekly basis, Bev and Dave also have entertained at birthday parties, brownie meetings and after school PTA gatherings.

I just wanted to again thank you for coming to our school. From the minute you began our children were enchanted! Your lively interactive songs, silly puppets, and the fun you have is infectious!
