From the syringe laden shores once filled with whiskey, satan and cheese curds, and the lush woods and concrete caverns used as the playground of the infamous "Jersey Devil" in the greatest state in the union, Halfway To Gone were born.
HTG emerged with determination on taking over New Jersey and the rest of the U.S. to follow, by creating a music and style of their own. They loaded their stabbin' cabin- a 70's GMC tour van (complete with shag carpet, diamond shape window and vintage Iron Maiden tapestry) and set their controls on Conquer! With non stop cross-pollination touring from U.S. to Europe and their now classic "heavy stomp rock and road oil blues", HTG inoculated the massas with their pummeling - elbow meet eye socket live performance. Intrenched in their tone and style of music, their family of fans rose to the thousands.
With the countless number of tours and shows they played , 3 full length albums on Detroits Small Stone Records and a split with Alabama Thunderpussy on Game Two Records, HTG surpassed their goals and have created something very unique with their big motor moving, unstoppable sound.
