Since I'm very laid back, my interests include relaxing, of course drawing and painting,listening to music, going to movies, working out at the gym, playing basketball, nature and the great outdoors (not camping though). I love watching Pro Football(Go Bears!!), Pro basketball(Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns or Cleveland, wherever Shaq is, LOL!) and college Basketball, luv most 80's music,people watching(especially on a windy day!!),anything to do w/Mythology & ancient Egypt, the sound of wind chimes blowing in the breeze on a warm summer night, I have an affinity for infinity pools, old cartoons (they were the best!), old movie classics, the Three Stooges, Abbott and Costello, classic horror films like Dracula,The Wolfman, Frankenstein, The Mummy (the original one of course!)     I like listening to various types of music. Definitely R&B( which seems to be on the endangered list these days) Music sets the mood for me, whether its to paint to or work-out to. Some of my fav artist include U2,Smashing Pumpkins,the killers, No Doubt, Coldplay, Public Enemy, Kanye West,Outkast, Moby, 80's music, NIN, Blink 182, Linkin Park, Ludacris, 112, Classical/New Age(inspires me when I'm painting!)"     C.S.I.:Las Vegas, Celebrity Apprentice, SNL, Speeders, First 48, King of Queens, American Idol, Rock of Love, Love of Ray J, Man Vs. Food, Judge Judy, I watch a lot of HGTV when I get a chance, MTV Cribs (just for ideas for my own future place), Call me a geek, but I could watch The History Channel, Science, and the Discovery Channel all day! Some reality TV (unless its too dumb)Dog;The Bounty Hunter, reruns of the X-files of course!),.My all-time favorite shows were The Honeymooners and Sanford & Son! They still make me laugh today!! Of course don't let me forget SPonge Bob!!!

But it never stopped me from watching though! The music still gives me the chills!! Hella fond memories are brought back with this homage to the original opening to "Creature Features". If you grew up in Chicago in the seventies, you probably remember getting the blankets and gathering around the TV with a large bowl of popcorn( not microwaved, but the "real" kind popped on a stove in an iron skillet) on Saturday nights to watch Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolfman, or the Mummy terrorize the screen! How cOOl was that?!!

About me:

I hate labels, so I describe myself as an "ARTIST"!!! That, covers the gamut of creativeness! Some graphic designers can do almost anything on the computer as farr as design goes, but can't draw or paint worth a crap! Then there are artists who can create masterpieces with a brush and a canvas, but computer or digital art is completely foreign. I was the latter for a long time, but I believe a "true artist" can learn to manage both! With that being said, as for my style, I'll let you be the judge because art is so subjective. I do however, pride myself on my versatility as you can see in my pieces. I paint what my mood calls for, whether its fantasy art, landscapes, abstracts, or surrealism, I don't favor any one over the other, just depends on mood big-time!!! .. You know..., if you stare at the drips of water long enough (it has such a hypnotic, calming effect, huh?) you'll get the urge to go and check the bathroom for a leaky faucet! LOL! This was originally a misfit painting from my "pipes" series. I say misfit because of the stark, pink bg which makes it "different" from my other pipe paintings! Wait, different is good...right?
