About me:
My name is Christopher Walla. My family is either of Swedish or Norwegian ancestry - there's presently some debate. Likely both are true. Just a reminder: Whatever you do, don't try and 'Punch Out Osama' or 'Get A Hot Date Tonight' or 'Pop The Balloon And Win An iPod' or whatever the banner above tells you to do. You'll get crabs and then you'll have to go to the doctor.
Who I'd like to meet:
My sister, for dinner.

drop-kick, home-run, slam-dunk, touch-down gig in Edinburgh last night Chris.
you guys are playing even better now as a band than you were a couple years ago. you used to be great, now there is a whole different edge to the show, it's definitely a lot more raw, you guys are playing off each other more and from the crowd it just makes for a wonderful experience. so thankyou :)

sport metaphors as there were guys playing football (soccer) behind the venue pretty much all night, which i thought was amusing :)

(you're right, anyway the cookie might crumble and even if it crumbles completely, it is not unsustainable. i do hope we can keep this "it" together enough, though, to avoid getting back to the above so soon and/or so then/there).

much love, hope you are well...

Been meaning to tell ya Chris how 'totally awesome' your new album is. It's going to be in rotation in my baby girl's nursery ;) It was a pleasure seeing you play live at the Sunset last year, as well.

your new record is amazing.

i am loving the new songs, chris, i just have to share this experience:

i am stuck in some shitty ass seattle coffee shop which is playing shitty ass satellite radio. this program left of center, that gets played here a lot, is on and the dj for the show spends two minutes of an airbreak talking about how "local/community radio stations" suck and he hasn't listened to one in six years (apparently, he admits, because he only listens to his own programming) and then he scoffs and laughs at how irrelevant they are. (all of this happening as I am typing up the spring programming guide for hollow earth radio). he then follows that rant with a pavement song and then your single. ha...

thought you might appreciate that, especially with regards to such "occasions" as this:
