Please let me know if any of the songs' music sounds like something else. If I only heard the song once its hard for me to distinguish it from a tune I made up. Thanks.
No band so no band members. Just me and a really cool accompaniment creating program.
Influences
Music: Beatles, beegees, Pink Floyd, Barbera Streisand, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Hall and Oats, Phil Collins, Mr Rogers, Barney, Big Bird, Etc, etc.
Really big list and you really have to include everything you ever heard to be honest. This short list will have to do.
religion: I've been influenced by several different religions but the ones I prefer are the ones that don't try to limit God to a book that was so obviously written by man about man's interpretation of god. Check it...Man was running through the garden of eden butt naked and god was ok with that. Man suddenly got this strange notion that being naked was a sin so god kicks us out of eden. That fruit might have given us knowledge but it didn't give us wisdom. To this day the christian community still thinks its a sin to be naked in public. I don't know if there is a name for what I believe, but its this:
Everyone goes to the next plane of existence when they are ready. If there is a burning pit, you put it there because you believe you deserve it. We make our own fate in this world and the next.

-In order to find the truth, you must first accept the possibility that everything you know is a lie.-Unknown
-I am thankful for the darkness and the light. The dark defines the light and gives it purpose.-corthew
-Take me now before I sin again. A moment with a long lost friend. Always known but never realized. Nothing lasts but friendship never dies-corthew
-This last transgression is man's greatest treason; to do the right deed for the wrong reason.-T. S. Elliot
-Spare a listen for a restless fool. There's something missing when I need your rules-Supertramp
-Give a man a dollar and he'll spend it on booze. Teach him that cooked pigeons are squabs and you will soon see an end to that damn pigeon problem in New York.-corthew
I created this site to post songs I am writing. The software I use to create the instrumentation has proven to be quite good and my voice is slowly becomming more controllable so I hope you enjoy what you hear. I am also doing videos for some of the older songs so they can still be listened to here. Myspace only allows 6 songs at a time but I haven't seen any limit on videos yet.
Gosh, you close your eyes for a minute and Matthew will be an adult! He's so big compared to that video. It's amazing that I can remember him being born. He's grown up so fast. Abby isn't moving much slower!
The difference is, I didn't tell him to change himself, I told him what he asked me to tell him, which was how to get Julie back. I told him he needed to be honest and he may want to look into going back on his medication to help him with his decision making. It is funny though... :)
How have you been? I liked what you left on CJ's new blog. I expanded more on my personal feelings, but hey, that's just me, no sense in trying to change it right?
How's school going for Matthew? Does he like it so far?
Nice to meet you. Keep writing those great songs! I would love a comment on my latest video. It is the 3rd one down on my page, {I turn To Country} which was my first single and also recently charted on the Music Row Country Chart. My second single 'Angels Cry' also charted and my video is currently aired on GAC TV Positively Country. I co-wrote both songs plus seven on my album. I know. Rich and I talked strongly about relocating to New Zealand, they have more technical jobs than any other place in the world. It's a beautiful country, and American money is worth more there.
It truly is amazing how much crime and such we have here, when places like New Zealand might have 10 murders a year. If even.
