Richard Hale a.k.a DJ Halo – Biography
Richard studied and trained Music Theatre at Leeds University (Bretton Hall) and Mountview Academy. Richard has performed in Lysistrata ‘Théâtre Libre’, Them and Us ‘Little Fish Theatre’, Cinderella ‘QDos’ The Swan Theatre and played the part of Islay in The Speculator, he has also starred in a number of short films.
He started Djing at the age of 14 and ran a pirate radio from his back garden, he has now gone to perform around the UK with such acts including: African Bambaataa, Twister, David Banner, MTV Mashup Boys, Tim Westwood and DJ EZ. He has composed and engineered music for many artists in studios around the London including, Daley, Martyna Baker, Nathan Bryon, Dean Atta, Insight, Charlie Dark, Owl Boy and Sloozie.
He is now continuing the success of ‘Scratched Out’ The Urban Musical that was performed at the Lyric Theatre, Oval House and Riverside Studio Hammersmith.

Goals for the future: To perform on the west end, release some tracks and maybe one day set up my own record label.

Whether it's putting your vocals down onto a backing track, or you want to record some material for your voice-over showreel, I can provide you with professional quality recordings tailor made to your requirements, in a comfortable home studio in London.
I'm an actor and a sound engineer, so if this is your first time recording, or you are unsure of what you need and want to discuss some options, I would be happy to provide consultation over the phone on the number provided below.
Copies of your recordings will be available in most formats including CD, MiniDisc, MP3, AIFF, WAV, WMA and other digital file extensions. Also available via email.
Prices vary depending on the service/amount of time required. Here is a rough guide:
Single Session = 1 x Song with vocal to backing track
(2 hours @ £20p/h) £40
Double Session= 2 x Songs with vocal to backing track
(4 Hours @ £20p/h) £80
Triple Session= 3 x Songs with vocal to backing track
(6 Hours @ £20p/h) £120
Voice-Over Showreel Single Session= (As above)
These are basic guidlines, however, sessions often run over. Any extra time added will cost £20 per half hour.
At the end of each session, you will have the opportunity to hear a rough version of the recording, however, the finished version/s will be professionally mixed and either posted or emailed in the format of your choosing within 7 days. If you require a shorter term, let me know during the session.

You're gifted at the piano. I'd work around that...and play with some drum loops until they sound as good, or better than stuff that's being currently released. Good work man and keep it up!
