It’s been such a long time since we updated this myspace - oops! We are bad with this stuff as anyone who has come to this site before can vouch. But Today, we have put up some of our favourite songs and some you can even download too!. Yayay
There are some new Halogen side-projects in the making right now: As for halogen we’re still having a break maybe in the future we’ll feel like doing it. I get a little misty eyed when I hear these songs on our myspace.
Thanks for all the kind messages.
Jasmine and Frans have been working on a thing called Sheselexx with local producer Trilby Temperley. We have finally put a few more songs on our Myspace site. Sheselexx will be playing around Perth in the coming months with Trent Dhue on guitar and maybe Ben on drums every now and then if he’s in the mood.
Come and see us we’re really good!!!
Our next SheSselexx gig is with Ambidexter at their Cd Launch on the 28th of June at Mojo’s.

Frans, Jasmine and Trent have some new music coming up, but it's going to be a SURPRISE...so sssshhh...
Also, we are sorry or being such slackarses when it comes to this myspace - we're a bit olde worlde I'm afraid. I have to crawl my way out of my hermit cave to make it to the nearest computer, find my glasses and set myself in for the road ahead - I need broadband!
Thanks and love to Maki who came to hang out with us, all the way from Japan. We'll meet again soon! xxx
Thank you to Maki, Bram girls, Dycaite, Fabrizio, Bleeding Girls podcasters, and other regular communicators - you guys make it worthwhile getting out of the cave. xxx Jasmine
OLD NEWS:
Please accept thanks from Ben, Trent, Frans, Rob and Jasmine to everyone who made it to our album launch in Perth on Sept. 30th at Amplifier - special shout-outs to Gill from the USA and friends, Stephanie (you know who you are), BRAM girls and Co., Anil, and Jamison, Gerry and Jason, Bruce Mason and Simon Beatson, Ryan and friends, and Kim William (go The Love Letters), whose attendance and kind words (in person and on our myspace and halogenworld guestbook) helped make the night extra special for our self-deprecating selves. We applaud you!
Extra special thanks to Mish Starcevich and her friend for sending in photos from the night - we will get them put up on the website as soon as we can.
In the meantime, please check our videos on YouTube - hurray for computer geeks!! I don't have the direct link supersleuths - just key in 'Halogen' 'music' and 'Video' to bring up the videos for 'Collide' by Frans, and 'The Letter' by Steve McCallum.
Check out the Yeah Nahs, The Love Letters, Fighting for Alaska, Red Jezebel, Schvendes, Grand Central, Electric Limousine, and the Jacknives (and too many other bands to mention -Perth is flooded with excellent music right now)and support what's going on in our small hometown venues The Amplifier, Hyde Park Hotel, Rosemount, and the new Oak and Ivy. It's up to all of us to be there and keep these places alive (even if we hate this city half of the time).
So until 2007 ponder the below quote and get back to us...unless we get back to you first.

Hey guys,
Thanks for accepting our add.
Just wanted to say that I love your music. I bought 'Sirens' last year and thought it was the best album of 2006. You guys are are really talented and your music is wicked.
I'd love to see you guys play live! Any gigs coming up for you guys in the Byron Bay area?
Cheers and keep up the good work,
ben.
Hello, I hope you are well. Thank you for your support and for being my friend here at Myspace! I wanted to tell you some exciting news--I have a new distributor for my solo CD, “Chaos and Wonder”! It’s now available online through Pollyanna Cowgirl Records. It’s a cool indie label with lots of other great music in addition to my CD. Please check it out, as many of the CDs on sale there are going to find a cure for ALS.
