About me: The Haitian American Leadership Organization, HALO, is an established non-profit organization whose main objectives are promoting education, fostering unity, promoting networking, and improving the image of Haitians throughout South Florida.
Several concerned members of the Haitian-American community in Florida have started the Haitian American Leadership Organization, Inc., (HALO), as a non-profit organization with the goal of unifying and empowering the Haitian diaspora.
We have noticed that a lot of our talents and resources are left in the shadows and unexploited. We are providing a platform for our thought leaders and experts from all academic, professional, and technical backgrounds to network and to share their knowledge with our community.
We believe that by promoting networking and unity we will be in a better position to help our local community and Haiti.

Improve the image of Haitians throughout South Florida, and promote excellence in our community.
Our vision is to empower the Haitian community to be better represented in South Florida and the community at large, and to better coordinate the efforts of the Haitian Diaspora to participate in the reconstruction of Haiti.
Members and supporters are the driving force behind HALO. It is with your continued support that we are able to see our mission through. We welcome all of you to join in whatever capacity you are able; every little bit counts and together we can make a difference and bring about changes for the better in the Haitian community. Who I'd like to meet: Anyone willing to support or at least willing to listen the mission of HALO and has expressed the desire, willingness, and ability to provide support to the organization in whatever capacity possible: volunteering at events, administrative support, technical support, services in kind, recruiting of new members and friends, etc. We are looking for those who've always wanted to contribute to something that is life-changing. We are looking for those willing to give back... Interested?
