hot cross buns.

walking too far. rolling down hills.
almonds. instruments with bows that drag you along.
cherry flavoured things. the sky above the sea.
holding hands when you cross the road. jelly beans.
| | Music | i like lots. i went at it backwards, starting with the blues and evolving upwards into some hybred understanding that is completely unrelated to any actual musical talent of my own.
i am dragged around by certain chords. more instrument than genre orientated at the moment, surviving on a mixture of saxophones and strings
to choose today would involve some mix of the strokes and the smiths, ella fitzgerald and live blues jams. muddy waters, stevie wonder and nick drake. the kings of leon and led zeppelin. the roots, the blow and the endless nameless songs from soundtracks that i spend hours searching for.. all in a pot with a little electric, kid koala and bob dylan's harmonicas.

i've gone very middle class feminist right now so stuck in virginia woolf, margaret atwood, iris murdoch and jeanette winterson. but apart from that.. graham greene, spike milligan and good old hemingway are at the top like - adding now to my reclaimed cyber-punk love.. tricia sullivan, william gibson and Jeff noon (oh god i am a pawn of my module reading list..) got a thing for children's books - peter pan, secret garden and five children and it . very important; full of wishes, magic and beautiful things.
shakespeare is also very important i think
