Randall attended M.T.S.U.'s Recording Engineering Program and Hiwassee College to prepare for a career in the recording and music industry. Randall has owned and operated HSR since early 1990. With a family history of recording and music production Randall was destined to remain in the center of the musical community. Randall’s uncle, Frank White, owned and operated Log Cabin Record’s in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. Randall’s grandmother, Wanda White Mathews, sang with the group The Home Folks in the 1950’s and 1960’s and was a regular at the Tennessee Barn Dance, Mid Day Merry-Go-Round, The Grand Ole Opry and Ernest Tubb Record Shop. Randall’s uncle Dale, mother Patsy, grandmother Wanda, and others made up the popular gospel group, the Perfect Joy Quartet and toured extensively for several years. Randall continues in these footsteps and is an accomplished musician and vocalist as well as a talented engineer and producer.
