We wan't to thank everyone who supported us for all the Great Times we shared together.
What an awesome experience for us, we traveled, we played, we partied, we met all you cool people, we learned about ourselves and grew as musicians.
We tried but we just couldn't hold the band together.
Just recently it became painfully apparent to us that Hammerface had run it's course.
At one time as our musical chemistry clicked and we all realized we had something special to offer, we hoped and dreamed of accomplishing much more with our music.
But as people grow sometimes the visions change and we couldn't get back on the same page.
Through no fault of anyone in particular, it's time to lay Hammerface to rest.

Normal was not usually a term used to relate the music of Hammerface. A meaningful blend of old-school metal/thrash and new groove gave Hammerface a unique sound amongst their peers. Alternate time signatures were given a familiar feel with steady bass driven melody, core metal guitar, with vocal and drum polyrhythm. While not trying to be radically different than popular bands of the day, Hammerface was by no means trying to fit in. Each member was influenced differently, and no influence held dominance over others. The result was undeniably heavy, and the band wanted nothing less than to get people moving. In the eyes of Hammerface, the live show is where the magic happened...

This makes me sad beyond words, to hear that hammerface is actually done.....But, I would like to thank you all for the most awesome memories that i will always cherish!!! Well al'be damned fellers.. 4th place is Freaking fantastic for a radio station that has a reach of 300 miles in diameter. I think you guys deserve the recognition because you all seriously do melt Pavement. Once again congratulations! I look forward to the next, long awaited I might add, show!

well i think it was that i was going thru hammerface withdrawals and in protest I broke my ankle. or something like that...I know I'm self destructive. Well...yeah. but the good news is that surgery was successful and I'm miserable on the couch for days and days.
have to keep er elevated. GODDAMN!!! I AM SO BORED!'hope yall are rockin!

Just wanted to tell all of you that you need to be there for your family first if you don't have a family then we won't have you guys, Fans are great but you come home to your family not the fans take care of your families then come back and Jim congrats on the baby. Hope to see you in april.
