Hammerslug is an instrumental, progressive, hard-rock, jam-style band. Hammerslug has been an active performing act in the Tampa Bay area for the last 13 years ! The various styles of the band are ever changing, and range anywhere from "this" all of the way to "that".
Featuring John Tron on guitar, Mike MiJo on the drums, and Chris Slooter on the bass, Hammerslug are also an all original recording artist.
The following releases: "Send our Remains to Broadway", "Bermuda Rectangle" and "SlimeDome" have been local favorites for years.
The latest release, to be titled "VOLUME IV", is set to be released Summer 2009. This epic will include many of the new fan favorites from the performances over the last 3 years!
There will be some scattered early 2009 live performances as the Slugs prepare the mixing of "VOLUME IV". Expect a plethora of Summer '09 dates to be announced soon!! Standby.......

This is a Sunday show but we also have tickets for the Slave to the Metal Music Festival at the Garage in St. Pete for only $10 and that is good for both days of the festival June 12th and 13th, a Friday and Saturday respectively.
