Hi. I'm a Moog Etherwave Pro Theremin and a girl named Jen. For about 5 years now, we've been playing around NYC off and on with bands such as Stickerbook, Omri, and Katie Brennan and the Holy Bones. Now we're learning music together all fancy-like at Mannes College. We know that sounds like a lot of work, but it's really not. We want to work more!
Thing is, while Jen can play the theremin well, she's neither a sound engineer nor is she a producer. She needs help. We're looking for bands to play with, musicians to collaborate with, etc . . . We are a blog dedicated to promote live Music in NYC, we encourage our members, all NYC active musicians, promoters, to post their shows, clinics, etc.. in our comment box. We will be announcing them in our podcast every Wednesday. We announce only the members that are having an event in the same week and only in NYC.
