   About Hampton Street

Named after the street that houses the famous Madhouse Rehearsal rooms, Hampton St is the melting pot between 5 of Birmingham’s best and upcoming musicians.

Forming in 2005, Hampton St have created a thundering sound that mixes elements of classic, progressive and hard rock for a meaty satisfying whole, the band consisting of Steven Whittington on vocals, the exceptional guitar talents of Scott Kirby and Paul Kalra, James Dixon on Bass and James Merrix on drums, have come a long way in a short amount of time.

The band have fused powerful rock vocals, excellent guitar work, groovy bass lines with precise beats to create material that grabs and holds your attention!

After a brief line up change, 2007 saw Hampton St scaling new heights, performing bigger venues like the Birmingham Bar Fly and making the finals with first place in the semi’s of a national unsigned music festival. The band expanded there sound with songs like Angels on Horseback and November Song.

The band have proved great at getting crowds going, performing with an unrivalled level of showmanship and enthusiasm, quickly establish themselves as crowd favorites, and with a strong, truly memorable live set the band have played gigs with great local talent such as Trevor Burton (The Move, Steve Gibbons Band), Blaze Bayley (Formerly of Iron Maiden, Wolfsbane), Lunarmile (Black Sabbath and Judas Priest offspring), I Hate You More, The Satin Dolls, Trial By Fire and many more while establishing themselves as a popular regular at the Sheldon Marquee.

2008 will see Hampton St enter the studio with producer Andy Faulkner (Bolt Thrower) to record there debut album and expand there ever growing reputation and impressive gig listings with many more live performances around the UK!

A massive thank you to everyone who came to the Relentless Weekender - over 400 people attended over the two days!

We will be having another Relentless Friday on 21 December with From Grace, Many Things Untold and a couple of others to be announced.

If that is a bit heavy for you, we have Mesh-29 @ Quayhole Kate's just the day before featuring special guests Tauracine on their return with an exclusive unplugged set. Support comes from Matt Jones, Jonny Beck and TwoMinuteTemplate.

The 23 December sees the return of The Beat to The Park, Peterborough, following their sell-out performance only a handful of years ago!
If you are into the old school ska/punk scene, check out Bad Manners next Monday 10 December at The Park with Buster Bloodvessel back on the Peterborough stage again performing some of their notable hits including "My Girl Lollipop", "Lip Up Fatty", "Ne Ne Na Na Na Na Nu Nu", "Special Brew", "Lorraine", "Just A Feeling", "Walking In The Sunshine" and the "Can Can".

Doors open at 7.30PM and tickets are just £12.50 in advance from www.thepark4music.com or Stamford/Peterborough Music Shops.

It has been well over a month since our last update and we have so much to announce this month, it's hard to believe!
We have events booked up until Easter next year with several major events during December, the first of which this weekend!

RELENTLESS WEEKENDER
RELENTLESS is a new and exciting series of monthly events to be held at The Park, Peterborough.
All featuring five furiously fine acts - 'your essential five-a-day'.
Tickets are going fast, so you can book now from www.thepark4music.com or reserve weekend tickets from Performing Artists now.
Tickets can also be bought from Peterborough Music Shop.

Weekend tickets are just £10, a saving of £3 on day prices.

Friday Night sees the return of Sylosis to the Park, combined with performances from Romeo Must Die, Cinders Fall, Our Dying Concept and Sever the Wicked.
Saturday Night welcomes Abel is Dying, all the way from Italy, to the stage featuring support from Shadow Law. Local support comes from Khalo, Tomorrow Dawns and also showcases The Boy Will Drown

Several other events for December will be announced and promoted soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
The website is also in more developed stages, we do not have a deadline for its completion, however all updates shall be announced shortly.

The RELENTLESS Weekender this weekend will have really early starts! - Doors open at 7.00pm both nights, so make sure you get there early and don't miss out.
WEEKEND Tickets can be purchased on the Friday night for just £10 on the door or individual day tickets are available for just £6.50

Thanks!
