About me:
Handmade Detroit is a loose collective for anyone who loves hip handmade goods. We have a web site at www.handmadedetroit.com. Make sure to check it out!
+ We are open to anyone — be it maker or buyer. We strive to provide a forum for Detroit-area handmade artists and craftsters and promote events related to them. In doing so, we are building a community around the many talented and creative artists and crafty-types in our fair city.
+ On August 4, 2007, we presented the second Detroit Urban Craft Fair. The fair showcased 60-plus vendors for a day of community building and DIY selling. The official web site has lots of info on DUCF.
